Navigating the process of applying for veterans’ and survivors’ benefits can be complex, but you don’t have to do it alone. The Lenawee County Department of Veterans Affairs provides guidance to help you complete and submit applications for veteran-related federal, state, and local benefits. Our accredited VSOs ensure your application is properly prepared and that all required documentation is submitted to the appropriate agencies.
Whether you are inquiring about VA compensation or pension benefits, burial and memorial benefits, survivors’ benefits, VA home loans, education benefits, VA health care, obtaining copies of military records, requesting temporary emergency financial assistance, scheduling transportation to and from the VA Medical Center, or volunteering as a driver, please contact the Lenawee County Department of Veterans Affairs to learn more about benefit eligibility, our services and available resources.
Please note: No appointment necessary, simply walk-in, call, or email us with your inquiry. Appointments are scheduled only when a VSO determines they are necessary. You may complete the Appointment Request section, and a VSO will reach out to you to discuss the reason for your online contact.
