What can I mail to an inmate?
Incoming mail will be limited to postcards. The only exception will be legal or judicial correspondence. Inmates will not be permitted to receive mail that is identified as being sent bulk rate or presorted standard as indicated by U.S. Postal Service markings. Because our mail comes through a central mail room we do not receive mail on weekends or holidays. All mail is subject to inspection for the presence of contraband. Mail containing glue, adhesives, glitter, crayon, marker, lipstick, stickers or other foreign substances will be rejected. Items sent through the mail that are not allowed will be returned to the sender or placed in the inmate’s personal property locker.
