September 11, 2025

On this day, we honor the memory of those we lost on September 11, 2001. We remember the courage of first responders, the resilience of survivors, and the unity of a nation that stood together in the face of tragedy.

Let this day also serve as a call to action. As a National Day of Service, we are encouraged to help others in ways both big and small—lend a hand to a neighbor, support a veteran, volunteer for a cause, or simply share kindness. In remembrance, we rebuild. Through service, we rise.

Patriot Day

Observed each year on September 11, Patriot Day is a national day of remembrance honoring the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the terrorist attacks of 2001, as well as the countless first responders and service members who answered the call in the days, months, and years that followed.

In recognition of this solemn day, Carry The Load is partnering with the National Cemetery Administration and the Department of Veterans Affairs, to offer meaningful ways for Americans to honor those who have served our country. Volunteers are invited to join a National Day of Service and Remembrance at more than 60 VA National Cemeteries nationwide—helping clean headstones and beautify these sacred grounds in tribute to our military, veterans, first responders, and their families.

Never forget. Always serve.
