Caregivers, especially those supporting loved ones with dementia, face unique emotional and relational challenges. The Lenawee Department on Aging invites you to join our next Caregiver Support Group meeting, focusing on "Intimacy & Dementia: The Realities and Fears," on Monday, November 4th, at 2 PM. This session will take place at Daybreak Adult Day Services, located at 327 Erie Street, Adrian.
Led by Kathy Johnston Betzoldt, M.A., L.P.C., this discussion will explore the complex feelings surrounding intimacy and dementia, addressing common fears and helping caregivers understand and navigate these sensitive topics. Whether you are new to caregiving or have been in the role for a while, this group provides an opportunity to share experiences and learn from others in a supportive environment.
Free respite care is available for your loved one during the meeting. To reserve a spot, please call 517-266-2588.
We hope to see you there as we continue to provide support, guidance, and resources for caregivers in our community.
