[ARCHIVED] Seeking Lenawee Veteran for Executive Committee

Veteran Wanted

The Lenawee County Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking recommendations for appointment of a veteran to serve as a committee member on their Executive Committee for a four (4) year term, ending December 31, 2028.

Requirements:  A resident of Lenawee County who have served honorable on active duty (other than for training purposes) in the United States Armed Forces.

Qualifications:  Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and experience in public service, business, finance also familiar with community resources and financial assistance programs. 

Recommendations can come through a veterans’ service organization/post or by an independent member within the county.  The nomination form, the veteran’s DD Form 214/separation document and resume are due by Monday, November 25, 2024.
