Michigan State Police, Michigan Department of Corrections, Lenawee County Sheriff, Lenawee County Rescue Task Force, Adrian Township Police, Raisin Township Police and the Adrian City Police will conduct a law enforcement exercise on the ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital campus on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025. The drill will start at 9 a.m. and be completed by noon.
Signs will be strategically placed throughout the campus, giving notice of the exercise in progress. No roads or highways near the campus are expected to be closed. Any impact on the community should be minimal, as the exercise will not be taking place inside the hospital.
Residents should be aware that real-life sights and sounds may be seen and heard with simulated weapons. No live/real ammunition will be used. There may also be simulated radio traffic on event channels.
This exercise will not interrupt public safety services. Residents in the area should continue reporting real-world emergencies by dialing 9-1-1.
