The Lenawee County Animal Control Division consists of one full-time and one part-time officer. Their main function is to pick up stray dogs and enforce the Animal Control Ordinance in Lenawee County. They also handle many animal complaints ranging from animal bites, sick or injured animals and neglect cases. The division is totally funded by the revenue it generates from sales of dog licenses and some revenue that is returned from citations issued.
