Lenawee Transportation
Lenawee Transportation is Lenawee County’s public transportation system offering transit service to most areas in Lenawee County. Due to financial constraints, with regrets, there are pockets within Lenawee County where service is not available.
Our seating is limited, so please contact the Dispatch Office for seating and reservation information. For more information regarding available service, please contact the Transportation Coordinator at 517-264-4849.
When scheduling a ride, there are a few things to remember:
- Please be sure to cancel your ride if you are NOT going to need our service.
- Please let the dispatcher know if you have an appointment.
- Please let the dispatcher know if you have special needs for a wheel chair lift equipped bus.
- Smoking is not allowed on board the vehicles.
We start in Adrian at 9:15 a.m. and leave the Adrian area around 9:45 a.m. We arrive in Tecumseh at approximately 10 a.m. and provide service to the area until 10:30 a.m. We leave the Tecumseh area at 10:30 a.m. and return to Adrian around 11 a.m.
For the afternoon run, we leave Adrian at 1 p.m. and arrive in Tecumseh at approximately 1:30 p.m. We provide transportation service in the Tecumseh area until 2 p.m. and return to Adrian, arriving at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Daily, Lenawee Transportation also provides service in the Adrian area. We service the area approximately 3 - 5 miles outside the Adrian City limits. This service is provided Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., with the last call at 1:30 p.m.
Beginning August 1st 2017, Lenawee Transportation will be providing service for the residents of the Onsted area!
Service will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
We will pick-up at your curb side for the residents of the Village of Onsted and for those who reside outside of the Village limits, we will pick-up at a mutually agreed location within the Village Limits.
We will be in the Onsted area around 7:30 am - 7:45 am and travel to Adrian.
For the return trip - delivery to Onsted will be around 3:30 pm.

We also have flexible routes traveling to Tecumseh, Rome Center & Rollin, Hudson, Morenci, and Blissfield
