Our Vital Records & Elections Office will not be moving back into the Old Courthouse. The office will remain on the first floor of the Annex Building located at 113 W. Front Street, Adrian, Michigan.

Please visit our Vital Record & Election office for the following services:

  • Obtain certified copies of Birth/Death/Marriage Records- Certified copies can be obtained in-person, by mail, or online at www.VitalChek.com
  • To apply for a Marriage License
  • To apply for a Concealed Pistol Licenses- New Applicants must apply in person.  CPL Renewals can be obtained online, if you have received a letter from our office with your PIN number, at www.michigan.gov/cplrenewal
  • To record a Military Discharge
  • To file a Doing Business Under Assumed Name (DBA)
  • To apply to become a Notary Public- Notary Applicants can find and print an application at www.michigan/gov/sos. Applicants do have to apply in-person at our office with valid State ID
  • To file as a candidate for a county office
  • To file as a candidate for Precinct Delegate
  • To file as a candidate for School Board Member
  • To file as a candidate for District Library Member
  • To file Campaign Finance paperwork
  • Qualified Voter File (QVF)
