TRANSPORT TEAM DEFINITION

        The Transport Team started in 2006 and is responsible for the movement of inmates outside the Lenawee County Jail.  Dentists appointments, to and from other Correctional Facilities, and Court are all common transports that occur for team members.  While at Court, team members help bolster Court Security by taking newly sentenced individuals into custody, and maintaining order in sensitive Court cases.  When transport team members have completed their inmate movements for the day they go on Road Patrol to assist in Road Patrol functions.
