RESERVES DIVISION REPORT
2009

      SUBMITTED BY  SERGEANT DAVID AUNGST

NEWS AND HAPPENINGS OF OUR RESERVES

We currently have 17 active Reserve Deputies, this is down from the 21 Reserve Deputies we had last year.  Jeff Staup resigned early in 2009 due to time restraints.  Jeff proudly served the Reserves for 10 years.  Jim Britt was hired in June 2009 for a full time position in our jail which makes him ineligible to be a Reserve.  He served 5 dedicated years as a Reserve.  Jacob Johnson received his certification to become a Police Officer in 2009 and is searching to be hired full time.  He has moved out of the County which caused him to resign as a Reserve.  Lastly, Gordon Davidge resigned as a Reserve due to lack of time.  Both Jacob and Gordon have served as Reserved for nearly 3 years.
