Commissioner Bio:
Commissioner Tillotson is serving his first full term as Vice-Chair of the Commission elected last year succeeding Richard Bailey. He is the Chairman of Personnel/Ways and Means, as well as serving on the County Negotiations Team and holds the Chair position for Accounts Payables. By statue he sits on the Retirement Administration Committee, Business Revolving Load Fund Board, Drain Boards, and Tax Allocation Board. Additionally, Ralph serves on Rules and Appointments (Vice-Chair) and Physical Resources Committees, Agricultural Advisory Land Use and Economic Development Committee, County Airport Zoning Ordinance Board, County Planning Commission, Lenawee Transportation Corporation, Mid South Substance Abuse Commission and Executive Board (Chair), Parks and Recreation Commission, and Region 2 Planning Commission.
Mr. Tillotson and his family have been active farmers in the County for all of their lives and Ralph is well known as the "sweet corn man" throughout the area. He and his wife, Ginny, and their son, Kevin, reside in Adrian Township just outside of Birdsall.
