Commissioner Bio:
Commissioner Branch hails from Onsted where he resides with his wife Claudette. A former business owner in the community, Jack is actively involved in many community projects.
Mr. Branch is serving his fourth term representing the people of his district. He holds the Vice-Chair position of the Dog License Program Committee serves on the Airport Commission and is the Vice-Chair of Physical Resources. In his other official duties serving as County Commissioner, Jack is the representative for the Board of Commissioners to the Michigan Township Association, Region 2 Planning, and an alternate to the E911 District Board.
Jack was instrumental in spearheading the animal control system within the county and bringing it into a manageable and self-supporting department. A Catastrophic Animal Control Fund was established in the event of a major disaster or animal control incident in Lenawee County under Mr., Branch's service as Chair of that committee from 2005 through 2008.
