The Lenawee County Health Department makes a continuing evaluation of County and community public health problems and initiates, coordinates, and directs measures for their solution and/or prevention. This includes the enforcement of federal, state and local health laws, regulations and ordinances.
Prescription Drug Take-Back
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and government, community, public health, and law enforcement partners are holding a nationwide prescription drug "take-back" day, on September 25, 2010.
Individuals may take any expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs for safe, legal and environmentally friendly disposal to the Michigan State Police Post located at 2222 N. Adrian Highway in Adrian , Michigan between the hours of 10:00a.m.-2:00p.m. For information regarding other collection sites click here.
Public Opinion Survey
The Michigan Department of Community Health is conducting a public opinion survey regarding the smoke-free air law that became effective May 1, 2010. The survey is completely confidential and is easy to complete. Please take a moment to complete the survey.
