(Adrian, MI) The Lenawee County Health Department is now offering flu vaccine to everyone 6 months and up, including high dose flu vaccine for 65 years and older.  Influenza is a very contagious respiratory illness that claims the lives of many children and adults every year.  Adult clinics will be held on Mondays by appointment, children may receive theirs on Wednesdays by appointment throughout the flu season. Lenawee County Health Department accepts many private insurances as well as Medicaid and Medicare.   Thanks to the generous funding from the Lenawee YOUTH Council and United Way administration fees may be waived for children and parents may also qualify for a free flu vaccine.  For clinic times and appointments, please call the Health Department at: (517)264-5226 (Option 2).
